He taught at the UCI, UC Center of Critical Theory in Paris, American University in Paris, and RUW Bahrain. He worked as economic and socio-cultural forecaster for the car industry. Between 2009-2010 he was the chief of cabinet of the Minister of Culture in Romania. He currently lives in Istanbul, where he is the deputy director of the Romanian Cultural Institute. He is the author of Paris Chic, Tehran Thrills. Aesthetic Bodies Political Subject.s, 2007 and The Joyous Display of Global Order (in Romanian) Curtea Veche 2010, and published extensively in Development and other international journals.
