Her writings on Critical Legal Theory and Political Theory focus on racial and post-colonial dimensions of the global present. She is the author of Toward a Global Idea of Race (Minnesota, 2007), Notes Towards the End of Time (Living Commons, 2013), and co-editor of Race, Empire, and The Crisis of the Subprime (JHUP 2013).
