He is director of the new MSc Programme, European Union in a Global Order, at the Graduate School of Social Sciences (GSSS). The GSSS is the successor to the International School for Humanities and Social Sciences and Holman was founder and director (1998-2008) of the MSc programme there.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yunu3cvqabft7vifv\">\n <br class=\"yunu3cvqabft7vifv\"\/>Holman\u2019s research interests include the role of transnational social forces in emerging patterns of European governance, peripheral capitalism and EU enlargement and the regional impact of core-periphery relations in Europe. He is currently writing a book on transformation processes in Central Europe and the European Union and new patterns of core periphery relations in an enlarged Union.
